On August 17, 2023, Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at FAST National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES) arranged a training session that ignited knowledge and inspiration among our esteemed faculty members from various departments.
Harnessing the expertise gained from the SSAPI training at the University of Evora in Portugal, this session was an intellectual journey like no other. Dr. Muhammad Arshad Islam, Director of QEC, skillfully led the session, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from thirty (30) faculty members.
The training session covered pivotal themes, covering internal Quality Assurance guidelines, Digital competencies, their framework, and progression model. But that’s not all – we delved into the crucial realm of higher education assessment, exploring Blooms Taxonomy, the assessment matrix, feedback mechanisms, and a comprehensive checklist for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
This holistic approach isn’t just about sharing knowledge; it’s about taking a giant leap towards realizing university’s unwavering commitment to global education excellence and international accreditation.
